Take 93 North to 89 North in Vermont
Take Exit 17 "Champlain
Islands/Milton"
From CT/Western MA:
Take 91 North to 89 North
Take Exit 17 "Champlain
Islands/Milton"
From Nj/NY:
Take
87 North...
To Plattsburg, NY
and follow signs for the
Cumberland Head/Grand Isle Ferry
Once off the Ferry in
Vermont, take a left onto Rt 314. In about 3 miles, there is the
RT 2 intersection. Take a left onto Rt 2
West/North. Pass through
center of Grand Isle at blinking trafic
light. 2.5 miles from the light, on Rt 2, there is a left hand
road "Hislop's Landing.
Drive down towards the Lake and the office is the first building on the
left.
OR
To Lake George,
NY area and follow signs for the
"Bridge to Vermont". This is a longer trip but there are
attractions along the
way. You will take Rt 7 in
Vermont to the Burlington area. Follow signs to 89 North and take
Exit 17 "Champlain Islands"
OR
To Champlain, NY
(North of Plattsburg). Take
the Champlain/Alburg Bridge to RT 2 in Vermont. Take RT 2
South/East through
Alburg, North Hero and into Grand
Isle. The road "Hislop's Landing" is a right off of RT 2 (about
1/2 mile from the North Hero
Drawbridge)
Once on Rt 2 at the
89 exit, head west towards the
Islands. The Sand Bar Bridge is about 6-7 miles from the
highway. South Hero will be te first town on the Island...stay on
Rt 2 into Grand Isle. From the 2nd blinking traffic light on Rt
2, stay straight for 2.5 miles. The road "Hislop's Landing" will
be on your left, take the left and drive down the hill towards the
cottages and the lake. The office will be the first building on
the left.
